About the event

Valentine's Day Comedy at the Campbell Theater in downtown Martinez

CoCoComedy.com is teaming up with The Martinez Campbell Theater to give you a fun and easy date night for Valentine's Day.

Showtime 8:00, (doors open at 7:00) giving you plenty of time for dinner before the show. Since it's a work night, this show will only go until 9:30

We're having a little fun with our lineup for this show. Since it's a non-weekend show we're bringing in some of our favorite comedians we've been unable to book due to them being producers of other shows during the weekend.

Our headliner for the evening is Monique Marvez.

Monique is the perfect artist for these dynamic times. The lovely Latina (fluent in Spanish) stand up, air talent, screenwriter, author, podcaster and above all, PERFORMER has spent 25 years at the forefront of changing media, mores and cultural shifts both pop and profound with three diverse SHOWTIME Specials and a much lauded appearance on HBOMax’ HA Festival, now streaming.

Marvez’ nearly 20 year career in radio, ran concurrently with a national touring schedule, performances for the military and prestigious cruise ship bookings.

If you have Showtime, Amazon Prime, &HBOMax, you can watch Monique on all three at once! Let’s not leave out her own YouTube, Spotify, Pandora Channels and heavy rotation on Sirius/XM!

This everywhere at once comic has built an enormous foundation of funny the old fashioned way; hard, constant work, never ending travel, and a deep desire to uplift, energize, and electrify her large (and ever growing!) loyal fan base.

Luckily her intentions and hard work are matched with talent and incredible delivery! To see her live is a combination of HA! HA! And AHA! that stays with you long after your face and abs recover from laughing.

P.S. local theater fans may recognize Monique from the play Cougar and Prey at the Clayton Theater a couple of years back.
