Improv for Good

This month's show is an encore benefit for the Rainbow Community Center.

Act II improv is proud to continue our support for the great work they do for the community.

Act II improv was formed by improvisational actors that believe in performing “for good.”  They formed Improv for Good as a way of giving back to the community, making it a central part of the troupe.  While paying forward is important, they also seek to provide a creative outlet for improvisational artists to innovate and grow.

Act II improv has focused on developing skills to produce long-form scene-based improvisation.  Frequent visitors to their productions coined the phrase “... dramatically comedic” to describe how they weave their humor and dramatic reality.
