About the event

Spring Comedy at the Campbell Theater in downtown Martinez

All women's showcase benefiting HerSmile.org

CoCoComedy.com has put together our second annual all female show with some of the best, funniest ladies in The Bay.  This show is a benefit for, and a portion of of all ticket sales will go to, #HerSmile.org. (See .org info below or check out HerSmile.org)

Doors open at 7:00 pm.  Showtime at 8:00 pm.

Our Headliner for the evening is Carla Clay

Clay is a native San Franciscan and a long-standing veteran of the San Francisco comedy scene.  You may have seen her on Comics Unleashed or at local clubs as she has been on the bill of every comedy club in the Bay Area.  She is also known for having a “clean” comedy act with very broad appeal.

Our Opening act is Kathy Klotz-Guest

Kathy has opened for Sammy Obeid and Larry Bubbles Brown.  She's a bay area comedian and has performed at clubs, wineries and festivals all over the country.

Our feature comics are Clara Bijl and PX Floro

Clara is an internationally unknown stand-up comedian and writer.  Clara grew up in the French Alps and learned English by listening to rap music before attending college in South Carolina, as one does when coming from France.  Upon graduation, she moved to New York City to become a stand-up comedian.  She thought her English was serviceable until someone asked her if she was deaf.  That’s when she decided to study with a speech therapist.  Clara has since performed stand-up comedy without an accent around the world.  She has two successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival under her belt, as well as two comedy albums Internationally Unknown and Welcome to Claradise.

PX is a talented standout female comic originating from San Jose, CA.  Listening to her after a few minutes, you will see why she has a legion of fans and supporters.  With a tell it like it is attitude that charms everyone instantly if you haven’t already been mesmerized by her big hair and deep voice.  Being the mother of all mothers to her two daughters Queen Olyvia and Queen Penelope she always takes the time to make people laugh.  Listen to her experiences as she journeys through life.  A woman you can never forget especially with a name like PX.

PX has opened for Esther Povitsky and Joe Wong and produces and hosts weekly shows at Fox Tale Fermentation in San Jose and Groundstack Coffee in Stockton.

See CoCoComedy.com for full event lineup and Bios.
