S4R Presents... “FINDING HOPE IN AMERICA”
The nightmare of addiction, seen through the eyes of a group of men and women, and the power of the community that saves their lives.
Director’s Statement:
When we started this project, we had no idea about the structural barriers faced by Hispanic/Latino communities struggling with substance use disorder in the United States. I have lived experience with addiction, homelessness and recovery, but never imagined the size and scope of the barriers faced by Hispanic community members who seek help.
